Hi everyone

Hi, over the last 2+ years I have been lurking and finally have something to say... I have watched likely a couple thousand YouTube videos on skoolies, skoolie life, RVs, and homebrew teardrop/ trailers and tiny houses.

Anyways, I am still trying to figure out my needs (and wants). I am leaning towards city or highway bus for the extra width (I am a tad claustrophobic). My budget is negative $1000 so saying shoestring is a gross exaggeration...

I am a Joe* of all trades and thus a master of no relevant ones... I have experience in plumbing, electrical, some body work, mechanical (including hydraulics and pneumatics)... I can do rough, and I do mean rough, carpentry that can survive the test of time but tight joint finish carpentry has always been my achilles heal...

Anyways, high everyone, I hope I don’t drown you in my plethora of questions.

*Joe of all trades is my politically correct equivalent to Jack and Jill so gender is no longer involved in the trades...

Welcome, just amazing how many videos right? I would say millions of them, most are pretty good too. If one spends the time, you can see everything from a camper towed by a bicycle, to a 40ft mansion "tiny" house. And you are right that how you plan to travel makes a huge difference on what is "best". A Prius and Hotels might actually be best for many people! ;)
