Hi everyone! I'm new and can't wait to get a bus and start!

Hi. I'm new here and have dreamt of owning a skoolie turned camper for a few years now. I'm wanting to take the plunge now.

I've been researching for months now and I still feel overwhelmed like I don't know what to look for. I'm hoping to stay under $4k for a bus and I've found some 2009-10 buses for that, but I can't seem to find the pre-2007 buses for that price.

My heart has always been set on a shortbus, but with 2 small children I'm thinking a midsize bus might be better. If anyone knows where to find info on make and models i'd love that.

We don't want to go bigger than midsize because we'd like to travel and we don't have our own land to park it on yet so we want to keep it as compact as possible until we do.

Be patient. Keep looking. Please fill in your profile so we may better help you. You will be best served going pre 2007.

Welcome aboard, Buslivesmatter!

And this evening, suddenly a movie named Nomadland suddenly matters a great deal, having been awarded assorted Oscars. Now I need to see it, to look for any skoolie among the more common vans.

You mention "land to park it on". Are you planning to live in it, or do you mean a parking/work space for when you are not using it?
