Hi from SC (aka hotter than hades)
Hi! I've been looking around here for years but apparently never created a login until today. I can't buy anytime soon but enjoy looking and getting ideas. I'd like Hubby to be on board with it but will do it without him if I must. This is a desire which I've had for over 20 years now, so I'm finally acknowledging it's more than a whim.

Welcome.
I too longed for a bus for years. Since at least the mid 90's.
Hot as hell in the south this week!

99 as I write this. We've hit 102 this week already. Bleh!
I had a chance in'91 to trade my VW Camper Bus for a school bus. Always wonder if I should've but I love VW Buses too!

a VW bus is worth at least three or four school buses...
I hate VW prices these days.

That's what I was gonna say: early 60s by the evidence. Straight up pop, lights, bumper, windows, vent style. Not 70s.
Could be late 50s? Split window.

I just saw this on my local CL.... ONLY $55,000!!!!! This makes me a sad panda.
1966 VW BUS
The prices of these old vans is ridiculous. I tend to rag on the "yuppies" who can afford to be seen in one. I'm sure I step on some toes but I really don't care. This price situation is sad.
