Hi! I’m Shanks!

Hello everyone! I’ve loved the idea of converting a school bus and have been wanting to do it for several years now. Kind of reached a point in life where if I don’t do it now, it will never happen so my best friend and I bought a bus and are diving in head first!

I’m a thermal engineer and work on aircraft cooling analysis, so the cooling design is pretty up my alley! I’ve been digging into every thread I can find lol. cadillackid has been a standout among those posts lol!

The bud we bought is a 2003 Saf-T-Liner HDX RE 13 window with the 24v 5.9 cummins and an Allison 3060. If anyone has any manuals or useful information about this build it would be greatly appreciated!

It’s currently located in Ohio and we need to bring it back to Oklahoma but I’m too anxious to yolo it without a CDL, so I’m coordinating with a family member who has a CDL to go with me to bring it down.

Anyway, I’m excited to start this journey with you all and look forward to meeting you!

-Shanks
