Hi, new to this.

Hi, I'm from Brandon, FL and I am interested in buying a school bus. Mostly because with what I earned I cannot afford an apartment and a car that is not older than 5 years. I would like to know what size school bus should I buy to house 2 adults 1 child and a pair of rabbits? What do I have to look for? And what are the law requirements in Florida to convert a school bus to a motorhome/ RV/ tiny house? Oh, and not need a CDL with an endorsement A or B? Thanx, ya'll.

In Fl you fill out an affadavit and its an RV. No need for a CDL.

I wouldn't even want a car 5 years old or newer. The quality just isn't there and they're not as nice as ten year old cars. My 13 Subaru was special ordered new from Japan and its easily the worst automotive purchase I've ever made. My $2000 van I bought from an auction burns less oil and has more comfy seats. Its 15 years old. My next one will be even older.
I do wonder if a bus is the best to solve your financial woes. You'll need somewhere to park it. That means buying land or having someone let you stay on theirs which often means paying rent. RV parks will cost you more than an apartment. Its not uncommon to spend tens of thousands making a bus into a home especially for a family.
You can do it, but if I were you I'd think on it before jumping in and buying a bus.
