Hi...thanks for having me!
Hello,
I haven't bought my bus as of yet. Still in the looking and almost have the funds to make my purchase. When I do it will be a shorty, as it's me and my fur-babies..
I have been studying "nomadic" life for about 6 years now from binge watching YouTube videos to taking nature survival courses, etc...
I was searching information on skoolie insurance and found a post that I commented on. Crossing my fingers I can get some answers to. Glad that this forum is here and happy to be here.

Welcome to the site Maggs.
Are you planning on doing the build yourself, or have it shop built?
Good luck either way, and post up pics if you do get something...

Thanks Pete,
My friend from MT lives in a converted cargo trlr and does work camping jobs. He is going to help me. And I will definitely share pics. I am kinda undecided yet as I am having issues with anyone wanting to insure a converted skoolie. I may end up getting an rv and gutting and revamping it. Really like skoolies though, but cannot be galavanting all over the place uninsured.

I've luckily FINALLY found an agent that will cover one, I spoke with the main DMV/Title office here in TN and got the specifications required to title a commercial vehicle to a motorhome, and we're making a floor plan of how we want our home to be.
Hopefully here soon the hubs and I can get a shorty and start posting pics

3.91 rear gears (recent swap).
LED taillights.
Air ride/air brakes.
Seats unbolted, plywood mostly removed, floor 1/2 "Oshpo'd", partly primed and carpet squares installed (easily removed if desired). Some of the hard work is already done for you.

Thanks, Brad. Your bus sounds nice. We're not ready yet, when we do buy, we plan on purchasing a gas engine and an automatic transmission. Hubs can't drive due to health issues, I don't do well with manuals. I will definitely spread the word though that yours is for sale.
