Hola from Socal! from tiny to not so tiny

Hola everyone,

I have known about this forum for years but only recently picked up my bus.

I never really had a solid intention on getting a bus until the itch started after I saw several conversions at last year's RTR in arizona.

As life would have it there was an auction close to me and I ended up getting not 1, not 2 but 4 buses. I have plans for each but only one will become my rolling dog house and an addition to my current rig, a T1N sprinter van.

Years ago I was climbing the corporate ladder, keeping up with the jones' and life happened...I ended my longtime relationship, I quit my job, and lived out of my partially converted van at the time.

I've since learned from the sprinter forum, and have enjoyed my van cross country and to Alaska and back.

Now that I have a bus, I hope to continue to learn from all the creative DIY'ers here and contribute some ideas of my own.

Allow myself to introduce the gang: Eeny Meeny Miny and Jack
(3) 2003 Thomas FS65 7.2 Cat, Allison and (1) 1996 International 3800
All buttons work, cruise at 75mph on the freeway and regularly serviced till just last month. CARB retrofitted and DOT certified roadworthy.
All of them literally turnkey ready.

...now to find parking

Thanks for the compliment man. Dwayne is definitely cool and ironically the only one I'm selling. I'm keeping the other three. I've read that your very knowledgeable so I hope to pick your brain in the near future if that's okay

Haven't even taken out a single seat and already brainstorming on layouts.

Following the process of building out my sprinter van I've found that 2/3 of the time is brainstorming before even picking up tools.

I'm hoping my living out of my van will serve as a reminder that the bus has much more space than I need.

Layout is designed for 2 people and 2 pups

Here's a rough doodle.

I welcome comments and suggestions

So I've been reading and learning lots about my rig... Thanks to several people who have come before me and paved the way.

Some random shots of my rig for some who requested them as well as for me to look back at how it all started and where I take it. Click image for larger version
