House is on market.

Hi all
My name is Mark and I live in Skokie Illinois (just outside Chicago)

I just put my house on the market. Currently have an overlending vehicle and a small travel trailer. Looking to buy a Skoolie/Shuutle bus. , initially for weekend and week long remote working trips. Eventually the plan is to live 100% in the bus. (Probably 2-3 years from now: early retirement, or 100% remote job)

Right now it’s just me. I’d like some thing that’s very comfortable for two people with mountain bikes.

My ideal configuration is a diesel pusher 35 feet or under with underbelly storage and a handicap door. Would be great if it already had a roof raise and insulation .

Can someone tell me what manufacturer and model numbers I should be looking for for a 35 foot Or shorter diesel pusher

Thanks
Mark

Have you looked at the classified section on this web site? That's a good place to start.

also, I would be concerned about towing something as heavy as a F150...most school buses have a lot of overhang behind the rear axle...I think that could be a safety issue.
That has been discussed elsewhere on this site as well.

Good luck!

Maybe try at mid-west transit in Kankakee, its not too far from you. They have a ton of stuff there. Back when I was looking they had more flat front busses in Indiana but maybe they will have some you can take a look at in person before buying.

I'll be towing a ranger not an f150. as long as towing setup is adequately rated, shouldn't be an issue
