Hello everybody! In my cursory research on Reddit and Instagram, I’ve been pointed to this forum multiple times as a great resource for ideas, inspiration, how-tos, and good connections. Here’s my first post!

A little about myself: I am a 22 year old college student (ish) living in south Texas. I just signed another year lease here in town and I’m hoping to have a skoolie to live in by the time I move out in August 2022! I’ll make another post to tell y’all about my plan and to ask for some advice from the community, but that’s the gist.

As far as dream build goes, I’m hoping to have a pretty heavy and robust midsize school bus and build it out custom myself. I’m not a renovation expert but I do consider myself “handy” and have some decent experience with power tools. I can’t wait to learn some new skills whether through failure or otherwise lol.

There is more than enough information on this site to research into bus type, powertrain options, what to look for on an inspection, etc. if you take the time to check it out.

Good luck and ask questions on here before jumping in, especially if you aren't sure what you're looking at...
