Howdy from Mississippi

Hello ladies and gents!

I do not currently have a bus but I have found a 1995 Ford bus w/ a 5.9 liter cummins engine that I am looking to buy. Unfortunately I can't go look at it until the 10th of August.

I've been eyeing buses for some time now and come to the conclusion that a cummins engine and bud wheels were necessity for the right bus for me. I have a spare cummins engine laying around, and have experience with working on them over the international.

I'm planning on doing a bathroom in the rear w/ 4 bunk beds midway and a small sitting area in the front. Most of the time on camping trips all cooking is done outside on the grill or camp stove anyway. I owned a new camper 10 years ago and I liked it but I don't want another camper.

Update! I finally bought a bus! Iíve been looking for one for over a year and any bus that I liked was sold before I could get there. I was looking for a bus with a DT466 or a Cummins and those arenít so common around here.

I purchased a 2000 Freightliner full size bus with a 5.9liter 24v Cummins with 241k miles. It does seem to be the AT545 trans, I havenít confirmed this yet tho. I was more worried about getting the engine that I wanted than the trans.

The bus does need a few things like a grille and side view mirrors but other than that she is in pretty darn good condition. No cancer or dents on the body.

I canít wait to get this thing under way!
