Howdy from Missouri

Very glad I found this site. Defiantly some awesome Skoolies on here. I just bought a 1979 Ward, and am ready for the fun. I am having a hard time finding anything out about my particular model though. Every time I try to run the VIN to get information it says that it is to short. Does anyone know why my bus has a 13 digit VIN in stead of the 17 most parts sites are asking for?

VIN wasn't standardized to 17 digits until 1981.

Hi there!

I also just bought a skoolie and I'll be converting it in Missouri on my family's farm near Trenton. Look forward to following your progress and maybe we can share MO specific tips!
