Its good stuff.

I've been using a similar product from HotShots but they're the same type of additive.
I don't run any additives in anything except diesel fuel treatment.

I run archoil in my 7.3 now and it’s given my Injectors an extra 18 months they didn’t have. Well at least one was tired and was good after the initial hotshot secret and then regular use of archoil in the fuel and oil. However they do eventually wear out and one of mine is going lazy again so I’ll finally swap in the new injectors I got 18 months ago

I would certainly like to do all I can to maintain this C7 and protect it from itself. However, I can’t currently afford to spend up to thousands of dollars on mechanically bulletproofing this engine (like that EGR cooler fix for where unfiltered oil can slip into clean oil via a bad gasket under the cooler). Nor can I afford to delete the EGR, DPF, and pay 3k for a tune.

I do believe this bus was maintained at the factory recommended intervals and that’s about it. I’d like to be more proactive about oil so that’s the first thing I’ll be doing. As far as the rims go, I believe the bus would have failed it’s mandatory inspection in October due to their condition and was sold as a consequence. I would not trust them with a fully loaded bus on a rough road at 55 mph.

However, I did find out the AC works GREAT. And the rims are good enough for sitting in my driveway until I save up for more rims!

As far as progress goes, I gave away my seats today. They’re going on a hay wagon as I’m told. I plan to tear up the front rubber and plywood and do something nicer for the living quarters and leave the rear for modular setup by reusing the existing wheelchair belt mount and rail system to secure bike chocks, tools, cargo, bunks, etc.

For my ~50gal of 3yr old fuel my Freightliner dealer/repair facility recommended a product called "killem" to stop and disperse any algae growth I might have had from the fuel sitting so long.

I think I used a couple ounces -- so I've probably got a lifetime supply for $28.00

I also added a bottle of cetane booster to aid in starting the ol' varnish smelling fuel. My bus started right up.

Waiting on Vt for plates. Then I'll explore getting insurance...

Meanwhile, I'm replacing some rotted brake lines...
and the bleed nipples sheared off the front discs -- I got impatient -- I should've used a torch but I didn't want to risk heating up the piston seals...

At least there's plenty of room to drill them out w/out removing the road wheels...

I’m in Sunbury(just north of Columbus) my bus is not really able to be driven down the road right now but I would love to meet up and see some of your busses. Also, I would be willing to lend a hand in the area if needed.
