Howdy yall! We should pick her up tomorrow (July1)

Happy to have found this forum! My better half and I have purchased a 99 International 3800 which has already been partially converted by previous owner. We hope to get her back to the house and in my shop tomorrow so i can start trying to make sense of what we have goin on.

I look forward to learning from and sharing this adventure with you guys and gals.

I have many questions already, will do my best to search the forum before putting it out there.

I'm also new to this forum and just starting my own project. Congratulations on your purchase of the 99 International 3800. It sounds like an exciting project, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of helpful information and support here.

Update! We finally got it home on friday, drove really good on the way home. We are currently pulling all of the previous owners work out of her, ended up having a few leaks in the roof that need to be addressed along with what i would consider sub-par wiring.

So, we are taking her back to the insulation, tracing wires, soldering connections and getting a few leaks sealed up. Hope all is well in your part of the world

So where are the pics? Which powertrain did you end with? Engine and Allison model #. Or did you get one of those ever so rare buses with 3 pedals and wobbly stick coming out of the floor?
