Electrical systems are just this side of voodoo to me. I'm sure there are some smart folx here who know how to calculate the required resistance for proper functioning, since LEDs draw so incredibly much less than incandescents do.
Course, mine are turn signals. Headlights shouldn't oughta flash (duh...)
Maybe something to do with your dimmer relay?

Iím not sure about specs and what to look for when sizing resistors for this headlight but I might go with this. 20$ plus 40$ for headlight . Not to bad .....
