I just bought a bus

Hi!
I just bought a 2000 FRT FS65 Bluebird bus. I bought her off a friend who was in the process of converting it but then Life Happened and they had to sell her.
I was planning on buying a bus, but I wasn't thinking it'd happen so soon.

I have a vague idea of what I'm doing but literally any advice would be super helpful. I also don't really have any tools (again, this was all very sudden)
The first issue I need to address is getting locks for the doors. She's currently being held closed with bike locks, which seems...ridiculous. But, I'm not in the best neighborhood and I can't leave it unsecured.

The biggest plus is that my friend was already able to remove the seating and the interior side panels, so other than some cleaning up, it's just about ready for me to put new things inside.

The search is great way to find misc topics of old content here. Most things have already had great discussions you just need to read. I'm starting my own build next month, so I've been digesting as much as I can here. The more you read the more prepared you'll be. For instance, almost everyone says you should completely pull the floor to check for rust. Did your friend pull the rubber and plywood sub-floor? It is a ton of work, you are going to need some tools...or a friend with some tools.

I have found that as I work on my the searches become more relevant, and new topics become more interesting.

Welcome to the group, post some pics of your bus.
I'm also dealing with the front door. I'm just going to weld it into a one piece and have it work like a normal door.
The metal on my door was not wide enough for any locking options...
Yeah do a search there are so many that have already shared this info with pics.
