Insurance

Hey my name is mikaela. Just bought a school bus! Very excited but I can't get insurance. I've called about 10 places already no luck. I live in colorado. Does anyone know of a place that will insure me?

I'll give it a try thank you so much. I wanted tons of schoolie videos and read up alot. I really didn't think getting insurance would be so difficult.

We were able to get commercial insurance through Progressive. Good luck!

There’s that. It’s a good option for getting a bus home, but as soon as you turn a screwdriver on your conversion your policy is void.

We where able to get insurance, but it was just regular bus insurance. We don't really plan on moving it until it is done. Besides for emission and trips to the repair shop. Then once the conversation is done we are going to find different insurance. For the time being though we can get it registered and put in my name. It seemed like the most cost effective way to do it.
