Jump right in

I posted my first post without introducing myself, how rude. I've been dreaming about a schoolie before I knew it was an actual thing. Back as a freshman in high school (15 or so years ago) I wanted to convert a school bus and run away to Mexico. It's warmer there than Ohio and no patents to tell me what to do lol. Now that I'm Older and Wiser ha ha I still have this dream to travel around in my moblie workshop /tiny home made or of a converted school bus. I look forward to sifting through this wonderful collection of forums for insperation and advise. Thanks for now. And nice to meet you

bring it on baby!!!

just whats the Ohio busses.. Lots of rust!! esp on the ones that come out of the northeast part of the state..

and columbus tends to run them forever so they get rusty as well..

though Ohio inspectors are a stickler for mechanicals so you often find busses that run good from ohio.. just rusty...

Welcome itibitirainbow
Glad you are here

Yes i believe we are born with the skoolie gene, and at some point it becomes active and like a homing pigeon finds the bus

What kind of workshop are you dreaming?
I spoiled myself with the rear 8ft of shop space. It is basically two 2x4 benches , one on each side and packed with all my tools and parts...and now three of my bicycles. lol

I should have mentioned I'm still searching for warmer climates. I've landed in Tennessee for the time being if I can figure out my tire situation I'm hoping it will be far more temporary than originally excepted
