Talking Just bought a bus// bit overwhelmed

Hey everyone, first of all, this site is awesome! Im so glad its a thing and that my good friend showed it to me. So I bought a 2006 international pb305 . picking it up tomorrow. Very excited about that. have to drive from PA to Ohio to pick it top and drive it back, the only thing is, It won't have license plate (not even temporary) and not insured . and I do not have a CDL. does anybody have any experience with this and any tips on what I should be looking to do? any input would be gratefully appreciated (~);} also , I will be on here a lot more once I get to working on it , which I plan on doing most days of the week until complete or at least livable. it will probably be a moving work in progress for a long while. I have a lot of questions about a lot of things. electricity being a big one. and spare batteries/eventually solar. and what I should have wired before putting insulation and walls/ceiling in (which will most likely be wood). it also has handicap lift that I will probably take out to reduce weight. lots of questions .... just gonna take it one step at a time and not get stressed out about it. thanks to anyone who'd like to help me with any information. love y'all.

Ask your current insurance agent if your existing policy covers you for the drive home.

I recently picked up a bus in oregon to drive to columbus ohio.. they didnt have a way for me to get a temp tag... I just slapped a "vehicle in Transit, Personal Not for HIRE" sign on the back and drove it with no issues..

Good Sam offers insurance - they quoted me at $143 per year. You can fill out the VT registration paperwork and use it as your temp registration in case you have an issue. "Paperwork is in progress" type of thing.

Write in on cardboard, just make it legible.. its really easy to get overwhelmed when you look at it as a whole project. Concentrate on 1 project at a time. It helped me..lol
