Cool Just getting started!

Hi all! I'm Aimee, as the username might suggest.

I'm from southern California. I've been casually tossing around the idea of living/traveling in a skoolie for years, but it's finally seeming like a real possibility! My partner and I have a game plan to save up over the next year or so for a conversion, and in the meantime I'm here to learn as much as I can.

I think we'll end up with a mid-size skoolie, anywhere from 25 to 31 feet long. I prefer flat-nosed, rear-engine buses. I've already come across what looks (to a newbie like me) like a perfect bus, and had the painful feeling of not being able to buy it yet, since we have nowhere to park it! Ouch.

If y'all have any tips about where to park and convert a bus while living in the city, I'd be very grateful In the meantime, thanks for all the tips!
