Just Pulled The Trigger

Me again. I flirted with the CNG transit bus, but then this came up...a 2007 Thomas HDX with the Mercedes 926. 202,000 miles in southern Nevada. No rust, no hill climbing, no rough roads. Now I gotta get up to Vegas (2.5 hours) and drive her home.
So excited to start a new project. Definitely an upgrade from the 1984 Carpenter I converted 4 years ago.

Yeah...first order of business is sneaking in the back way and hiding it in the back yard til I can make it not a commercial vehicle. It's fine as an RV. I've got a portapotty, bed and dining table I can toss in real quick for the DMV

Don’t forget the yellow paint. They got me on that back in the 90’s. Move it in the dark of night. That will make a nice unit when you are done.

Yeah...the kids loved painting the last one. Especially the roof.

Being 23 years newer than the last one, I won't be spending half the time on prepping it...no rust, no broken windows, etc

I should be able to get right to the build out portion. You know, the fun (and expensive) part.

What? Nobody told this was supposed to be fun! Just kidding, enjoy the new build and play safe.

Thanks. I'll have fun or go bankrupt trying. Lol

Seriously, though...I used to own a big boat. I'm used to throwing money away
