Talking KCMO Bus Project to Begin!

Hello everyone!

My husband bought me the bus of my dreams (as a surprise) for my birthday this past weekend. We are about to start the removal of the seats. We have a pretty good idea of our floor layout. We are going to log all our developments, and mistakes, and good times here. We are super interested in everyone's feedback and just plain having a great time with other bus lovers!

July 1st, we will be driving Dawn Treader from KCMO to the Oregon coast.

Welcome, but... we kind of want to know the specifics on your perfect bus.

Where you at? I'm about 40 mi inland from Lincoln City.

We got a 2003 International 36ft diesel. No modifications. So we get to start from scratch. Super excited!

We are going to Lincoln City! We have some friends who live there so I'm going to work there for the month with the kids. We are going to go to the Oregon Country Fair while we are there too!

That is a pretty nice Bday present. That bus should make a lot of memories for you guys.

Yeah, the country fair is nice. If you're going down to Eugene anyway you might want to also head east on 126 for an hour to hit up Cougar hotsprings near McKenzie Bridge.

That sounds absolutely lovely! I wonder if my friend has been out that way. She will be with me, in her bus with her kids, post fair.

Hi! We're starting a conversion just now, too.
Wanted to pop in and say I love your bus' name!
