Lightbulb Las Vegas Locals- Need some help!

Good Afternoon community,
My name is Austin and my GF and I live in Las Vegas, we are planning on purchasing a bus soon, but first need to secure a safe place to store our bus and work on it. This is where we are struggling to make progress, working on some options, but with the way HOA's are and tight neighborhoods in general it makes it tough to find a place to do this. Any rv storage or places we have found nearby do not allow you to work on the bus in their area. Has anyone converted a bus in Las Vegas that went through this same challenge? We are open to any advice and have a friend that will let us store the bus in her driveway temporarily, but would like to hear from you to see your thoughts and what you did if you are local. Thank you and cannot wait to start the journey!

I don't know the specifics of Vegas, but in general it's possible to store the bus in one place and drive it to your house or friend's house to work on it during the day (this is what I do, in fact, even though my storage lot owner doesn't mind my working on it there). All most HOA's or zoning compliance officers can do is order your bus to be moved (and fine or tow you if it isn't), and if you leave at the end of each day anyway you're golden. This doesn't work for everything (like, you can't really be driving around during a roof raise) but it will for most stuff you need to do.

You can also drive to an empty industrial lot somewhere and work with a generator if you don't have any space at all to work on a bus. And you get the benefit of keeping your bus drivable the whole time, so you don't have to deal with trying to get it started again after two years of sitting.
