Let me introduce myself

Hello all!

I am brand new to the skoolie way of life, but not new to living in small, mobile spaces. My little short bus should be ready for me in a couple weeks. I will be picking it up in AZ. She's a 5 window 2005 Chevy Express 3500 MidBus with a 6.0 Vortec inside.

We have about five months until I will be moving in full time to live solo while in grad school.

My first question for you all...is it acceptable here to start a thread regarding finding a long term place to park in a specific area? I would like a plan B in case my university gives me the boot. Their parking enforcement gave me a very vague answer when I asked if I could stay in my bus on their property. Not a yes, not a no.

Thank you in advance for answering the many questions I'm sure to have.

welcome to the forum, i think you've found the right place.
keep searching through the thread topics and browse and browse and browse s'more.

not knowing the area/town/university you'll be stealth camping at, but i would have to agree with the schools vague answer... somewhat. this ain't the good ole' days anymore. it's just not as easy as parking along a curb for a few days (possibly a few hours) in some locations w/o someone seeing something and saying something. the next thing you know you're a marked vehicle and the five-o might keep their eye out for you.

ask around, keep a low profile - you'll find some answers.
cheers,
b
