Well we have this thread:

On top of that most people who start a build thread list where they got theirs. Every school district in the USA has at some point sold a bus off either at auction or off their lot via "sealed bid" or some other manner. When I went looking for a bus I called the local schools districts and asked them how and when they retired buses. They all were more than happy to let me know who/what/when/where they used to sell them. Keep in mind though that buses are usually retired in December (for year of expiry) or June (after kids are out of school), so looking in Feb is not likely to be a robust market with tons of options and low prices. More likely you will find the left overs that nobody wanted when they were fresh or dealers and flippers with higher prices for nice examples.

Also if you give some info about yourself and your thoughts on uses for your bus we may be able to point you better in a helpful direction. Finding a bus isn't even the hard part here, have you looked into converting the title in your state and what is your insurance plan?
