Looking tomorrow to purchase my first bus

Hi, i have found a good deal, i think, on my first bus. 1991 Chevy C60 27, 000 miles has gas engine, automatic, 2000 cash. Is this a good bus to convert for myself and one child? Anyone having any knowledge to share is much appreciated!!

27 years old and only 27k on it? Surely this one has had a speedo replacement.

A good bus to live in...... If you think it is good, then it is good. You are about to take on a super huge project, a bus, and the other super huge project, the kid. This will not be easy to do. A bus this old, I would not expect to be low mileage. If this bus really that low mileage, you have a major score on your hands. Do not expect to cruise 70mph on the highways. You might be able to, but more likely you will be a 50 mph roadblock, run the back ways. I hope you find what you are looking for. If the vibes are right, do it. Remember, this is gonna be a %%%T ton of work.

Thank you for the reply, I now own the bus. Yes, lots of work that I am looking forward to accomplishing. I have a great helper, my father. It was the vibe that did it, I am right where I need to be here.

Well, this bus was owned by a small Christian academy. It was inspected by the state yearly and I have one of those inspection papers. I think it was a good find.
