New and excited to start

Hello
My wife, son and I are buying our first bus next week presuming everything goes right lol. Super excited and ready to start the big long project converting it to our home away from home/camper.

Choose wisely. Not all buses are created equal. Also, while you may find a smaller bus may not have enough space for your purposes, you may find a larger bus too much for you to handle as well. There's a lot of demolition and prep work to beginning a good-quality build that will serve you well.

But you also have to make sure you're choosing a good bus to begin with. If you like, I can throw a primer in the thread to help you understand what to look for and what to avoid if possible.

Welcome and good luck, I'm new myself. What part of the world are you in?
