New and looking for ideas

Hello y'all my name is Mike and my wife Robin and I just got our very first 93 International Thomas Built School Bus and we plan on turning into our own schoolie and thought what better place to look, listen and learn but here so here we are.
We've never done this before so we're going to take our time and do it slow and right. Thank you for allowing us on here!

There are lots of cool ideas all over this site. You might check out the photo gallery, and I've made a few suggestions and posts that some folks thought were great ideas. One such suggestion was to scavenge bunks, dinettes, and storage cabinets from big rigs. Some Volvos have a nice setup where the lower bunk doubles at the dinette that the table collapses to turn the seats into a bunk. Real space saver if you can make it work. Most semi tractors also have a curvature to the roof as it slips back, and the cabinets follow that, which is about as similar as you're going to find to fit the ceiling of a skoolie.

Welcome to the site. As Cheese_Wagon pointed out, there are a lot of good ideas floating around here. I have completely enjoyed the semi tractor suggestions that he has posted. For some reason, folks around here just do not look into the big rigs much for inspiration.
