Hi all!
We're a family of 5 and a little dog, too! Just recently purchased our 2000 Thomas Freightliner (CAT3126 engine) w/ 252,*** miles on it, but with a rebuilt engine. We purchased from a NC school district. Our bus is a 10 window w/ a wheelchair lift. We're in the process, though very slow, of gutting the bus in PA & have a friend in NC who will be doing the bulk of the conversion work for us. We're planning to travel the country with our ministry work once the bus is converted. Thanks for letting us join in the fun & for all of the help we've already received simply by reading so many posts! Many blessings to y'all!

hello all, looking to buy a school bus,
hello everyone, we are the rambling misfits. two ex truck drivers turned grandparents who miss the road.
we are looking for a mid to full-size bus that we can convert to our forever home. it can be gutted, not gutted, does not matter at this point.
we have a very limited budget around 5000 and under.
wiling to travel to come and get it.
just needs to be of mechanical soundness.
does not matter if diesel or gas, early 2000's preferred.
this may not be the right forum for this... but point me in the right direction and I will be happy to move to the correct location...
we have two dogs, three cats who will be our roommates on this future journey
we are wanting to get started on this next leg of our lives and hope someone can point us in the right direction to get started.

I'm curious about the cats. Cats are very territorial and don't like unfamiliar places. So traveling on my bus seems counter to everything I know about them. We lost a cat once when we moved from Ca. to Ct., stopped for gas and let her out to do her business. She took off and didn't return by the time we were ready to leave, what do we do? We left food and supplies and told the gas station people to contact us if she returned. She did, my aunt had to go get her, and Dad picked her up 6 months later (2 litters later) on a business trip. Had her for 21 years. I'm concerned for them, right now they keep me from traveling for any longer than a week.

You might want to try State Farm. Make sure your bus is titled as a motor home in your state first. Oregon was easy to do.

Hello! My name is Idahlia Sun, and I am brand new to the site! My spouse and I do not currently have our perfect bus yet, but we are searching! We are obsessed with Crown Supercoach Buses and are on the hunt for one! Unfortunately, we are on the east coast, and we are aware that western states like California, Oregon, and Washington are where those busses are usually found. Could anyone offer any advice as to how to search for a Crown Bus online? We don't mind traveling to acquire the bus, we just can't seem to locate them. The websites we have come across seem to be outdated listings. Otherwise, I am super excited to be joining the community and can't wait to learn from you all! Thank you, have a great day!

Hi! I created a fairly thorough introduction and after i submitted the post, it popped to the You Are Not Logged In as well as the You Are Not Authorized To Access This ....... I will assume that the original thread was a failure and i will try again. Waiting a few days in case that is SOP and the thread will appear pending approval and in case someone has a list of known preferences about what you want included in your introductions.
Thanks!
Rebecca
