Question New conversion project

Hi, All!

I hope I'm not in trouble here before I begin.
Buying a 2011 MBenz Sprinter 3500 (15-seat Hotel Shuttle build-out,) 3.0L turbo diesel 5sp auto RWD.
It's not in the strictest technical sense a school bus, but a 'regular' bus conversion project I'm embarking on.

Am I OK to push the bounds a little bit here on Skoolie.net, with this bus?

Plans:

Step one; possession of vehicle next week, safety'd, e-tested, insured and plated.

Step two; rework seats into shelves, otherwise use bus as-is to move to British Columbia from Ontario in the next two months.

Step three; convert in BC, to BC standards and with BC inspectors.

I hope my project can find a home here!

Thanks.

Welcome to the site.
It sounds like a good project AndrewH.

Not sure how they treat such projects in Canada but hopefully it is not too difficult.

Post pics if you get the sprinter, and good luck...

Not seen any actual van conversions on this forum, only van cutaway school or shuttles.
Bring it on. Maybe we can do RV builds here too. ;)
