I have owned (but not recently used) an 83 dodge van I converted into a sort of camper traveling van. My wife and I are currently in the planning and shopping stage of a school bus to convert into a skoolie to go on adventures on with our two kids. Currently almost 5 year old boy and 9 month little girl.

We are very good friends with the owners of Wheelie Nelson. They gave us a lot of inspiration and a subliminal push to start a skoolie conversion.

Obviously because of two kids we will need somewhat of a large bus to accommodate our needs. However, we still would like the bus to be small enough to be able to go not limit too much of where we can go. We will be just using it for long weekends as often as possible, road trips, camping, and also to tow a race car occasionally.

We will be facing challenges such as the size decision and also managing weight to safely be able to tow a vehicle sometimes and also squeeze the things that we will need like a shower, fridge, oven, beds for us all, etc.

We are excited to get this adventure started and value peoples opinions and help.

See ya'll on the road!
