Been working on my 1996 Bluebird for 3years. Almost finished with the exception of the plumbing
She has a366cid with an Allison545 tranny
The question I have is this. She only goes55 mph@ 4000 rpm. I don't know if there is a governor or if it's geared that low
Any comment would be appreciated
Has a throttle body instead of a carb. Runs off gas or propane

Hey friend. I'm also new here and came to post my own introduction when I noticed you're also in San Antonio. I'm still in the early stages and by that I mean I'm still looking for a bus. make sure your AT545 is shifting into 4th gear.. if it is then its just geared that low.. 4000 RPM iof I remember right is the maximum input shaft speed that the AT545 can handle.
