Welcome, from a fellow Floridian.
I'm north of Orlando a bit. If you can, try to shop for buses NOT from FL or GA.
They seem to be pretty rough on their buses here in the sunshine state.
Our schools are among the most under-funded in the country and our bus fleets reflect that.
Also- the dealers here in FL are way overpriced and if you watch all the auctions you can buy the same buses as them for a fraction of the cost.

Even if you get into a bidding war over a real special bus you're still many thousands ahead over a dealer or some junk off CL.

Thank you so much ! I have been doing allot of research, I’m definitely leaning towards a pusher style bus. What type do you own ?

I've had a couple 40 footers, and a couple shorties.
Here's my baby- the one in the front
I like shorties the best.
I also prefer conventional "dog nose" buses to transit style buses. Lots of folks love the RE configuration.
I just like the simplicity and ruggedness of a regular bus.

There's usually a tag on the axle. Or you can call the manufacturer with the vin.
Sometimes you can ask the seller and find out.
if having a back door is important then FE or CE are the way to go.
Getting a big powerful engine and a transmission with OD will be important, as will the rear axle ratio and tire size.

I want to put the master bed in the back so having a back door isn’t to important, on the auction sites do they list the vin #s?

Yes, the VIN is included in every listing.
