I'm new to the site and I do not have a schoolie. I'm very interested in the idea of living in one to downsize. I would like to build a container home in CA but I would like to live in the bus to stay close to work in the Torrance, CA area. How does one find a place to park it and live in it? Any insight into living in the bus in the Los Angeles beach cities area would be great. Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards,

Jonesy

The very first thing to consider before buying the bus is having a good place to park it to work on it.

I'm not worried about that. I'm concerned about after its done, where can you park and sleep without getting a ticket or a fine.

Buy some land, or park at various walmarts.

No sure on L.A. but San Francisco area tons of people live in old beat to death RVs.

They park in industrial areas and have to move a few spots up every day to avoid getting towed. The rule there is follow posted parking signs and don't be stationary more than 24 hrs
