Hello all,

We are looking to do a conversion in the next year or so to get ready for retirement travels. We just finished building our own home, so we are hoping that will help us with the skills needed to convert a bus. We would like some opinions on the size of bus that works best for people. I am thinking of a mid sized bus but not ruling out a full size. Either way, I will be looking and learning, thanks to all that have posted their journeys on line.

Bob

Lots of things to consider. Since you just built a house, seems like the bus would be for travel, not full time. All buses have advantages and disadvantages when compared to each other. Full size bus allows for more comforts....but may limit you to where you can stay...some nat'l parks and some camp grounds won't be able to accommodate you. Smaller buses may be easier to maneuver but you may have cramped quarters.
Anyway, once you determine what you want to do with the bus then you can start eliminating some styles/sizes.
