New Member Hello

Hi Everyone! I'm a complete beginner in everything skoolie. My kiddo and I have recently begun dreaming about converting a school bus to live in. We love the idea saving money on housing, living tiny, and taking off for long summers on the road, seeing the country, and maybe some of the adjoining territories.

We have zero skills, so will be getting hands-on training locally, and benefitting from your instructions and tutorials. We have decided to save and plan during the coming school year, purchase a bus, and then take the next year to do the basic conversion. It's going to be an interesting couple of years...

See you on the boards,

Katherine

Katherine,

Where are you in Texas? If you're near Houston, I can help with whatever you're looking for or wanting to learn. I'm a former teacher so I can teach what I've learned.

PM me if you have further questions or want to talk about something.

We are near Austin. Thanks for your generous offer. I know that we will need lots of advice, especially once we have a bus to work on.

Katherine,

I'm on the west side of Katy. I'm usually driving 290 several times a week. I'd love to drive my bus over there and show y'all what's been done and, more importantly, how to do it.
