New member saying hello

While I am working on a non-schoolie bus re-conversion I find there are a lot of times I want to ask proper schoolies questions to find out how they have solved problems.

Hi, I'm reconverting a GM PD4106 that was originally converted in the early 80's. Currently refinishing the outside and when thats done I will be gutting it to the bones inside and building it out new to my own preferences.

Nice... Don't sweat that it's not a skoolie per se... Most any bus is welcome here.

Thanks! Now that I have looked around it seems there is a forum just for coaches. Hoping to mine the collective brains on the forum. I am a very hands on DIYer that loves creative solutions. Generally I dislike throwing money at a problem when I can get a solution that simply takes more manual labour on my part.

There's something to be said for making something yourself, but there's also that old adage of work smarter, not harder. Just comes down in the end to how much work you feel is worth the result.

Coach > School bus. IF you can afford to play in that league.
Enjoy, sounds like a cool bus.
