New Members!!!

Hey everyone my Wife and I bought our first school bus about a week ago. We are super stoked and know there's a lot of work ahead. We will continue to post YouTube videos of our progress! Feel free to give us any pointers along the way. Glad to meet everyone!

Here's the link to our first video!

Welcome, we are in Michigan also. Birch Run between Flint and Saginaw(near Frankenmuth) we have been working on our conversion for a while now. We have our first trip planned for Memorial day close to home as a trial run. (Just over to Frankenmuth) If you would like to see a mostly done conversion you can stop in. I still have a ton of wiring to do and have to install the generator, a water tank, and the battery bank. And about a 5 page list of other stuff. (My daughter was making a list) but it would be fun to show it off if you get out this way.

And maybe give you some ideas.

How are you guys making out? I am working on the wiring on my conversion. There are many many wires to connect before i can install the appliances.

Howdy, new member here. Okie turned Hoosier after 9/11 and a job loss. Wife and I looking at all of the collected wisdom here and trying to decide if we want to even try taking on this sort of task (yea, 4 kids, too...).

Wondering if there are any Hoosier Skoolies floating around as we'd very much like to meet you and see what you're up to - you know, to help us decide....

Look up "SomewhereinUSA". Dick is a hell of a guy, and has a HELL of a sweet bus conversion. IIRC he's in or near Elkhart?

Hey Bill! We are making out pretty good! We have removed the floor. I've been killing/neautrilizing the rust. My wife is going to work on "episode 3" of our Bus conversion progress on YouTube. It's been a fun process. Hard work but I'm very determined! I have not thought to deeply in my writing set up yet. That will take some research. I'm a plumber not a electrician, but I'm ready for the challenge!

Defiantly bite the bullet and buy a bus! It's a exciting feeling. Feel free to sub to our YouTube channel. I'm going to try to document every step of a bus conversion hoping to help others! https://youtu.be/7JaPk3aNyJQ

Its a lot like building a house. Kind of like a kitchen, the most expensive room of the house. If you are in the trades, you have the skills. I'm pushing hard right now to get mine ready enough for the road in May. My wife already booked the campground so it has to be ready!
