New owner, ready to get started!!! Will be building in a DIY Garage

Hi,
I just purchased a 12 window, 72 passenger International bus!! I will be doing a full conversion with 2-3 bike storage in or behind. Will get on with planning systems when the bus arrives tomorrow!

I will be building it on my days off in my DIY Garage in Miami. Can not wait to get started, learn and contribute!!

Todd

They are not common anywhere, yet There have been many surges, but none have ever took. I hope to be part of the change that makes DIY Garages common place, don't plan on opening just spreading the concept to inspire others to open them. There are some large wheels in motion that will help that along ;)

As for the bus and bikes, I plan on a whole rear bike Garage that will serve as a shop with the bikes out.

Don't know if they still do, there used to be a lot of Navy air bases had them. Not nearly as well equipped. Do you have any way for customers to prove they are capable of operating some of the more expensive equipment? Looks like you spent a ton of money initially.

Most military bases with dorm/barracks housing sill have an auto hobby shop. Most of the wood hobby shops have shut down and arts and crafts are mainly commercial services now.

Been AF Retired 15 years now and utilize all base services as much as I can.

I have many Actives and Veterans as customers, they report that many of the Hobby Shops have been closed down, usually citing budgetary reasons. I believe that is a travesty!! Our men and women should have GREAT base facilities, yet we seem to spend more and more while they get less and less
