New Skoolie

Just wanted to do a quick into for myself. Small farmer in Texas who both myself and wife and kids have been talking about buying an RV. Then a few days ago, I remember watching a youtube small farmer convert a school bus and thought that we might want to do that instead of buying a travel trailer for weekend getaways from the farm. So here to learn what can be done with a school bus.

Welcome....
the possibilities are only narrowed by you imagination, and bank account

the first repurposed bus I ever saw was when I was a kid living on a remote island in BC. The farmer just out of town had bought two from the school board and converted one into a hay hauler for square bales (think flatdeck with fore & aft bunks) the other one had a winch and a skidder ramp, he put all kinds of things on that one.
they were way cheaper than having a tractor or wagon brought over on the boat.
