New Skoolie fan here!

Hey all! I've been lurking through this forum for a while and decided to make an account today!

A little bit about my situation... I am about 2 years out from finishing up 9 years in the Air Force and finishing my Project Management degree here in the next year. The plan is to get out of Alaska and bus down to the lower 48 and spend the spring-fall traveling everywhere I want to go. That last sentence translates to "I will be following a drive plan that targets breweries throughout the U.S.".

Here's my first question of many... Since buses up here are scarce, and the ones that do go up for sale, get bought up fast and for a high rate, what are your experiences taking a bus over the Canadian border? I know some of you have crossed with your Skoolie registered as an RV but my predicament is this; how do I buy a bus down in the lower 48 and then drive it up with seats and a school bus title in hand?

Thanks for your help and I welcome all comments/criticism!

User @Biscuitsjam had an epic trip last winter from North Pole (?) Alaska down to Georgia, which of course included what seemed like six months traveling through Canada. You can check out his thread on it here: https://www.skoolie.net/forums/f11/a...-20636-10.html
