New "sponge" from Northern CA

Hello everyone!

My name is Patrick, I'm from Northern CA. I don't own a bus yet. I joined this site about a month ago and have been reading a bunch of build threads to gain ideas and to see if it is possible (both financially and with my skill level) Ive been soaking up as much knowledge as I can from you guys.

So far my thoughts are getting a conventional (dog nose) style bus and converting it (DUH!) Id be using it for possibly a 3 month period at a time... or full time! The thought is to off set the cost of rent in CA (or anywhere) At this time it will probably be just me living in it. Im thinking of running a composting toilet with a shower, no sink (got one in the kitchen and thats enough)

I had sketched ideas late one night when i couldn't sleep for my ground plan but of course I forgot where I put them:face palm:

Anyways one thing I would love to see from everyone would be a link to your build thread, cost of what your bus ran you and the over all cost of your rig (or what you have put into it already)

Thanks everyone!

Good to have you here. Sounds like you got bit by the bug too. You'll lay awake at night quite often thinking thinking thinking. Check the Conversion section, most of our builds are on there. Ask lots of questions and when you find your bus we LOVE pics.
