New to the skoolie life

Hello everybody! My name is Matthew and I'm brand new to the skoolie community. I'm looking to have more flexibility, mobility and adventures in life, hence why I want to get into the skoolie lifestyle. Currently I'm looking at a 1999 International bus. It has around 154 thousand miles on it and is being listed at $4,500. I'm just wondering what are your thoughts on it?

Any input and advice is appreciated, thank you!

g'morning Matt. welcome to the forum.
the price seems right. mileage seems low enough.

as you start to browse the posts and threads, i'm sure get a better picture of what's 'good' and 'favorable' vs. what isn't. i think there's still some unknowns with the bus you've come across.. transmission model? engine size? engine history? overall condition of bus (inside and out)?

pictures go along way too, when you're able to post them. good luck on the search (or purchase of this one if you choose). keep us posted on your progress.

cheers,
b
