Newb here, hoping for some guidance 🙏

Hey Seasoned Vets!
Thanks for letting me join your group. Iím a total newb to this potential life style. Iím not looking to live out of my bus, Iím more hoping to take weekend trips in it, etc.

I found a Skoolie thatís for sale that I absolutely love and am heavily considering purchasing. Itís a mini, obviously diesel since itís a bus, already built out, etc.

Having never dealt with anything diesel as well as not living this lifestyle yet, I was hoping anyone would throw some tips my way. The things a newb wouldnít think of ahead of time, type of stuff. Or experiences youíve had that are handy to share.

Much appreciate anyoneís time and answers. Thanks so much!

lets start with the bus itself?
make, model, bus body manufacturer?
engine, transmission?
2 window? 10 window?
thats info we need to help answer your questions?
have you made the purchase yet?
have you had a shop or mechanic check it out?

And, where are you? But more importantly, where is the bus? How much rust?

Hey, who let you in?? DId you pass the qualification exam?

Did Jeff screw up..again?

The well-established initiation rites demands you update your location info and post a funny picture.

It’s a 2000 Ford E450 7.3L diesel, auto trans. 10 window.

I have not purchased yet, I am waiting to hear from the mechanic who is hopefully evaluating this week. I’m in NJ and the bus is in OH so logistics are tricky

What's the rust situation? Ohio road salt is not kind to vehicles.
