Hey everyone!

I have been researching for the past few months on beginning a bus build for when I go off to vet school next fall. I am trying to give myself enough time to finish the conversion and will (hopefully) be buying a bus this summer fall, giving me about a year for the conversion. I have relatively limited experience in these types of things other than having some mechanical experience (mostly dirt bikes) and have done some home renovations (building and hanging kitchen cabinets) but I am pretty good at following instructions and putting things together so I am hoping I will be able to do a majority of the work myself. Honestly my biggest concern is buying a quality bus with a robust engine/transmission and minimal rust. I am hoping to find a shorter bus that has the wheelchair access at the rear of the bus so that I can create a "garage" to store my bikes INSIDE the bus. Here's hoping. I am excited to be here and explore all the resources to help me with my build!
