Newbies in GA

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say hello. My wife and I are currently on the hunt for our first bus. We're going to try and do as much of the conversion ourself as we can. We're not necessarily in a huge rush to get it completed but would rather have it done exactly how we want.

I have already learned so much from everyone on here just creeping around different topics.

Looking forward to continuing to learn and becoming part of the community.

Cheers!

Welcome to the neighborhood. Go to the UserCP and fill out your profile with your location. helps better answer questions. Add your bus info when you get one.

Cleveland here. No, not *THAT* Cleveland! You'll see my name occasionally and I can be reached by PM as well.

Lots of camping places 'round where I live. No idea how many are Skoolie friendly, though.

Welcome. I'm in Savannah. Had my bus about 2 months now.

Pretty soon us Georgians might outnumber our southern neighbors in Florida on this site.

doubtful! Even the ones that don't start out here in the Sunshine State end up here for at least part of the year.

Try my source at 804-921-6924. Good prices, no rust busses.

Peachtree City here

Welcome to the world of Skoolie’s.

I’m in Peachtree City and about 60% done with my conversion. It’s a 2007 shorty Freightliner with a MB900 Diesel engine with hydraulic brakes. 48k miles. Runs like a champ after I did a complete new brake job on it. I picked it up one year ago this Jan. 1st in Pittsburgh, PA. Some rust here and there but it wasn’t too bad.
