Newbs

My old lady and I have been long-time lurkers on this forum. We finally bought our bus about a month ago and I've started the demo process. Bus is a 2000 Int'l 3800 with a t444e and the wonderful at525. The plan is to do a 16"-20" raise on the roof, a 1kw solar setup, propane for the kitchen area and a composting turlet. We're going to be full-timing in it and plan to head to Colorado in the spring of '16. Here are a few pics of the slow progress. I work several jobs and can only work on her a few hours at a time.

Got the floor de-rustified and painted with good 'ole rusty metal primer...

HAHA WE HAVE INSURANCE!!!!!! long story short, I've been fighting with ins. companies for a couple weeks now and finally found a carrier that insures through progressive somehow. $500 for the year. Off to the DMV to hopefully get an RV title now... AIS was the broker I ended up going through. Got a commercial policy for now and when the conversion is complete my agent said to call her back and she'll get the premium knocked down with a RV policy. God, I hate insurance...
