Noob In Missouri

Hey everyone! I'm from Missouri and I have decided to make some changes in my life. I'm liquidating everything and thinking about either getting a school bus and transforming it into my home or getting a travel trailer and doing the same. Leaning towards the bus for many reasons. I have been researching and reading, looking and talking and now I'm here. I hope to find out all the answers to my questions, as well as help others on here, if I can. Btw, anyone interested in a 12' MINI, 93 Lightning or a house..............lol.

Ok, well I found a couple of options on a bus. I found an International, DT466, auto, full size with 138k on the clock for around $3500.
Then I found an 86' Chevrolet, 56 PAX, 8.2L Detroit diesel, 5 speed, in decent shape, 138k on the clock as well, for $2-2500.
Any input on these would be greatly appreciated.

Parts availability, being the biggest. Detroits are getting long in the tooth, hard to find and expensive to fix. 466s you can find parts for just about everywhere
