I would do the 366 and different rims 22.5 if possible for better highway speed. If this was going to be a live in bus that you where planning lots of miles on then maybe a frame swap.


I have kept my international period correct and put lots of miles on it. It runs well, stops well and can climb grades as well as the more modern buses. So I do not see any reason to update it. Keeping everything in spec and maintained makes a big difference.

Go to face book marketplace. You will find Chevrolet wheels with this bolt pattern. There are usually plates that go with the fronts for only five wheel nuts. And they are tubeless one piece wheels. Gonna have wade through the chaff. These are found on motor homes, buses, and medium duty trucks like c60 c70, did they make a c80?
