Old Folks Home

Hello from beautiful Northern Michigan. My name is Kev and my partner is Christina. We are new empty-nesters and have decided to build out a bus. Our children are scattered throughout the country and our plan is to meander around and occasionally visit them.

This is our first build but Iím a good carpenter and metal worker. We will be building a long bus that is fully off-grid capable. Iím a photographer so the plan is to take two-lane roads looking for cool stuff. Joining us will be our Golden Retriever Cora and our German Shepard Freya. They love to explore so it should be fun.

I am more than willing to help anyone doing a build. Feel free to reach out if you need help.

Kev

Should be fun for you. And an adventure. With surprising twists and turns. The occasional challenge. Maybe one of those bummer days. Could be more. But yeah, for sure, adventure.

Welcome!

Welcome to the fray
This forum is a goldmine of useful information. There are people from all professions and trades, bringing, with them, a wealth of knowledge, sometimes obscure but, generally, interesting. Bad advice, generally, doesn't get far before someone catches it. Be aware though, this is not Facebook...if you are going to try something questionable to save time and/or money, you'll probably get called on it. There's not a lot of "Karma will see you through"
Ask questions, read posts, get a bus and, most importantly, have fun.
