Very exciting indeed. As many here have discovered a full test drive is super wise, to give the motor and transmission time to get up to operating temperature and also to see if the bus will not only run and drive, but maintain top speed for ten miles without revealing a smoke trail, slipping transmission, or worse.
Most likely all those things will be fine, but better to discover before paying than after
Excited to hear more as it unfolds.
PS; if your screen name Petrified is refferring to fear of the unknown, we can all relate. In fact there seems to be a state of shock after buying a bus that can last for a few months. It did for me. However if your sn means organic material that is old enough to have all its matter filled in with minerals ie petrified wood, choral, etc. That's super cool too.
